Evernight Team Comp In HSR – Honkai Star Rail
Evernight, the first 5-star form of March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail, follows the footsteps of the Amphoreus characters by being a unit of the Remembrance Path. However, her playstyle not only relies on her summons but also on having other Remembrance teammates. For that, here’s an example of Evernight team comps in HSR.
Evernight Team Comp In HSR – Honkai: Star Rail
Evernight increases the Crit DMG of all ally memosprites by 5/15/50/65% when there are 1/2/3/4+ Remembrance characters in the team. This means that, optimally, Evernight team comp in HSR should consist of at least 3 Remembrance characters. The fourth Remembrance is not mandatory since the increase is only 15% Crit DMG, which is easily replaceable by other buffers.
While a 35% Crit DMG increase (from having three Remembrance units instead of two) is also not that much, Evernight still needs other memosprites to build her Energy and Memoria. This is why three Remembrance characters are currently the recommended standard.
The need for other Remembrance units means that Evernight will have an obvious niche and specific team compositions. In fact, until Cyrene’s kits are revealed, it’s hard to predict Evernight’s potential position in the meta.
For now, though, there are two main Evernight team comps that players can consider in HSR:
- Castorice + Evernight + Tribbie + Hyacine
- Evernight + Remembrance MC + Tribbie + Hyacine
Castorice + Evernight + Tribbie + Hyacine
Evernight is meant to be paired with Castorice and Hyacine, thanks to their similar HP mechanics. The final slot theoretically should be Remembrance MC (RMC), but Tribbie is way too good to swap out. Tribbie also synergizes better in the team, on top of being able to buff the DMG of Castorice, Evernight, and Hyacine at the same time; compared to RMC, who can only buff one character.
One good thing about using both Evernight + RMC together is that players can free Tribbie for another team, which is a luxury, considering how universal Tribbie is. But if both Tribbie and RMC are unavailable, other buffers or debuffers can also be used as a replacement. Examples include Cipher, Ruan Mei, Sunday, Silver Wolf, and Pela.
Evernight + Remembrance MC + Tribbie + Hyacine
If players simply want to play Evernight for the sake of enjoying the 5-star March 7th, then they can use her as the primary damage dealer. For this, it’s mandatory to use both RMC and Hyacine, since they’re the only Remembrance supports available in version 3.6. Like before, Tribbie can be swapped for other units if she’s not available, but like with the first team, Tribbie is too good to be outperformed by other support characters.
For Evernight to function at her best in this team, Hyacine should have her signature weapon, Long May Rainbows Adorn The Sky. This allows Evernight to stack her Memoria faster, meaning Evey will deal more DPS.
Does Evernight Works With Aglaea?
There are several reasons why Aglaea is not an optimal teammate for Evernight. They can still be paired together, but here are some things to note for this Evernight team comp in HSR:
- Aglaea must be fast so that she can move more and regenerate enough Energy to maintain her memosprite and SPD stacks.
- If Aglaea can’t consistently use her Ultimate, she may need Energy Regeneration Rate (ERR) Link Rope, or E1. A fast and properly built Sunday can also help.
- Hyacine must use Long May Rainbows Adorn The Sky to support Evernight’s stacks. Alternatively, Aglaea can use the Light Cone.
- Evernight is highly likely to need ERR to maintain her Ultimate, meaning her personal DMG will be affected.
- If Sunday is unavailable, he can be replaced by RMC, but Hyacine must be replaced by Huohuo. Aglaea will lack Energy regeneration without a battery like Sunday or Huohuo.
- It’s not recommended to use Evernight without Hyacine or with only two Remembrance characters in the team.
- Evernight only buffs Aglaea’s memosprite and not Aglaea herself. Since Aglaea deals damage on top of her memosprite, Evernight’s buff won’t enhance all of Aglaea’s hits.
Even after considering all these limitations, Aglaea’s best team in HSR is far easier to play and is better than the Evernight team comp.
