The 2024 FIFPRO Men's World 11 was revealed Monday, with Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr standing out as the attacking trio – and Lionel Messi failing to make the side for the first time since 2007.
Manchester City led voting with four selections, while four players – Ederson, Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rudiger and Rodri – made the team for the first time.
The World 11 is the only global football award decided exclusively by the players. A record-breaking number of professional footballers voted for their 2024 men’s and women’s team of the year, with 28,322 votes coming from 70 countries.
