Mullin was also on target against Morecambe and Grimsby, before bagging a brace in a vital 2-0 victory over fellow promotion hopefuls Mansfield. He has found form at just the right time, with Wrexham co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney being given plenty to shout about.

WHAT MULLIN & PARKINSON SAID

Red Dragons boss Phil Parkinson has told the EFL’s of Mullin’s latest award: “We’re really pleased for Mulls winning the EFL Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award, it’s well deserved.”

The man himself added: “I’m really pleased because it was a successful month where we won a lot of games, but from a personal point of view it’s brilliant. The goals I scored helped me hit a personal accolade which was really pleasing and importantly we got up the table at a crucial point in the season.”
